If you only want to see the general situation of the supplier's facilities, a simple Supplier Qualification Audit is enough. If you need to fully understand the actual situation of the supplier, you can choose Extensive Factory Audit, and we will conduct in-depth investigation on the qualification and quality management system of the factory.
A reliable supplier is not only honest, but also can guarantee the supply under temporary or emergency conditions. Therefore, factory audit is also a kind of certification of strength. We will try our best to provide customers with the best supply channel through factory audit.If you need us to take this work on the supplier, please know the following and provide it to us:
1) Be familiar with the detailed parameters of purchased products (it is better to provide English or Chinese specifications)
2) Provide required certification standards (such as ISO9001, CE, FCC, UL, CSA mark, etc.)
The audit duration is usually one man-day for factories employing under 500 workers, and two man-days for larger facilities.Our charging standard is: 100 US dollars plus travel expenses for simple Supplier Qualification Factory Audit, 300 US dollars plus travel expenses for Extensive Factory Audit.
When cooperating with our suppliers, it is often necessary for us to carry out spot check and inspection on the supplied products to prevent the economic loss caused to customers by defects or omissions. The quality inspection of Feeyooo runs through the whole procurement process, from the beginning of ordering to the end of receiving goods.
The following steps are our general quality inspection procedures:
1) quality inspection before production
We will carefully check the suppliers after the order is placed, not only whether they can execute the contract in good faith, but also whether they can fulfill the contract. We will investigate the supplier's past performance history, visit their factories and offices, communicate with the staff, check the production environment, and even investigate whether there is any bank debt or legal proceedings financially.
2) quality inspection in production
At the beginning of production, we will monitor the production process. We will track the supply of orders from time to time to ensure that the suppliers can deliver goods on time, with quality and quantity. If necessary, we will also carry out on-site tests according to the requirements of customers, such as hi-pot testing for consumer electronics or fabric density check for garments and textiles, and send pictures or videos to you for verification. After the products are delivered out of the workshop, we will make an overall sampling survey on the goods. It takes place once 100% of shipment quantity is finished and at least 80% is packed, so it can be a real random inspection (this is not exactly the case if quality is checked earlier) and suppliers cannot play games. It puts pressure on suppliers and gives power to buyers. Its objective is really to confirm a shipment’s quality, rather than catching issues early. Therefore Feeyooo Sourcing usually advises clients to complement quality inspections with an overall sampling survey, to avoid finding disasters at the last minute, if the schedule is quite tough.If necessary, we can also check full inventory, but please understand that it may take more time and cost more.
3) quality inspection before transfer
Before the final transportation to the container, we will be on site to monitor the transportation of the goods. Feeyooo will check the quantity, weight, packaging, sealing, label and size of the purchased products according to the actual situation, to ensure that our goods will not have any unnecessary trouble on the flow of goods during the journey, and retain the image data. It can be useful if the buyer has a precise loading plan and needs it to be respected very precisely (e.g. some cartons are too fragile to be placed at the bottom), or if the packaging is not conventional (e.g. some garments hung on bars, with no carton protection). We will also follow the whole process from Chinese port to destination until they arrive at your destination successfully.
Only the most sensitive projects require all types of inspection. Generally, only one or two of these inspection are used, depending on the risks identified by the buyer.These quality inspection services are used mostly for consumer goods involving little customization.Different approaches are often chosen for ensuring that industrial products are up to specs.(much more attention is spent during development and early production).
